Creator Economy Veterans Behind TalentX, YMU Form Independent Talent Firm Glossary Artists
A group of former TalentX and YMU Entertainment executives has launched Glossary Artists, an independent talent management firm centered on creator-owned IP and long-term brand development rather than transactional sponsorship deals.
Headquartered in Los Angeles and Miami, the agency is led by Vanessa DelMuro, Kimberly Duman, Amanda Erwin, Haley Henning, Amber Howard, and Deanna Ritter. Beyond their work at TalentX and YMU, the team’s experience spans Gersh, IMG, the NFL, Machinima, StyleHaul, Edelman, The Digital Department, and Live Nation.
Managing Director Deanna Ritter described the firm’s internal model as a departure from conventional agency structures.
“Glossary Artists represents a new formula for talent management. One where we intentionally build an environment that supports our managers, giving them the freedom to innovate and create meaningful opportunities for the clients they represent,” Ritter said in a press release.
The firm covers beauty, fashion, food, lifestyle, gaming, and sports verticals.
Founding Roster
Glossary Artists announced five client signings alongside its launch.
Celebrity makeup artist and creative director Sir John Barnett, currently serving as Creative Director for Medicube, joins the roster alongside undisputed super featherweight world boxing champion Alycia Baumgardner, who headlined a Netflix broadcast in December 2025 that drew 15 million global viewers and is scheduled to fight at Madison Square Garden on April 17, 2026, under a multi-year ESPN deal.
Musician and 5 Seconds of Summer lead guitarist Michael Clifford signed with the firm for gaming-related partnerships. Food creator and New York Times bestselling author Jenn Lueke and three-time Emmy Award-winning TV host Keltie Knight round out the initial signings.
The firm’s existing roster includes beauty creators Mariale Marrero, with over 15 million YouTube subscribers, and Carli Bybel, with an 11 million total social reach.
IP-First Positioning
Managing Partner Vanessa DelMuro framed the firm’s strategy as a direct challenge to the prevailing sponsorship model.
“Pay-per-post and brand partnerships were a useful starting point for the Creator Economy, but they were never the end goal. That model prioritizes moments, not careers. At Glossary Artists, we’re challenging it by helping clients build original IP and self-sustaining ecosystems that convert years of audience trust into ownership, longevity, and real cultural equity,” DelMuro said.
The firm has already facilitated the launch of creator-founded ventures, including LEDDA Fragrance, NYKZ Home Fragrances, and LadyWorld, a three-day destination retreat and music festival.
