Nara Smith, the TikTok creator known for cooking elaborate meals and recreating snack foods from scratch on camera, has signed with CAA for representation, Variety reported.

Smith, a South African and German model, content creator and entrepreneur, has built her following on videos in which she prepares food from scratch while dressed in designer clothing and narrating in a soft tone of voice. She also posts about her life with her husband, Lucky Blue Smith, and their four children. She has 12.5 million followers on TikTok and 4.9 million followers on Instagram.

Smith will release her debut cookbook, “Homemade,” via HarperCollins on October 13. According to the publisher’s description, Smith began developing her scratch-cooking approach after being diagnosed with an autoimmune disease and eczema and finding she could manage her symptoms by cutting out most processed foods. She will support the book’s release with a nine-city tour.

Smith has worked as a model and influencer with brands including Miu Miu, Marc Jacobs, Fendi, Calvin Klein and Aritzia, and was named “Creator of the Year” by People in 2024.

She is also expanding into film and television. Smith will make her acting debut in Amazon MGM’s culinary thriller “Tyrant,” written and directed by David Weil and starring Julia Garner, Charlize Theron and Demi Moore. She will also appear in an upcoming season of “Project Runway.”
