Digital Brand Architects Acquires Talent Management Firm V1sion Ventures
The talent management company Digital Brand Architects (DBA) is acquiring V1sion Ventures, a boutique talent-management firm founded in 2022 by content creator Alina Benun, Business Insider Africa reported. The companies did not disclose deal terms.
V1sion Ventures built its business around helping creators diversify revenue and build ventures beyond social media, and reached seven-figure revenue in its first year, according to the company. Its roster includes lifestyle creator Leigh Soriano, music artist Chelsea Jordan, and Philadelphia Eagles linebacker Zack Baun. Under the deal, that talent moves under DBA’s management, and Benun joins DBA along with her team of three talent managers and two additional staff members.
“Our team has spent years helping exceptional talent grow meaningful businesses, and being part of DBA allows us to scale that growth,” Benun said in a statement.
The acquisition extends a run of dealmaking for DBA, which United Talent Agency acquired in 2019. The company bought golf marketing and digital-talent firm Digital Golf Collective in 2022, and launched Digital Brand Products, a merchandise and branding venture for influencers, in 2015.
“From the beginning, DBA has believed that creators are entrepreneurs who deserve partners that can help them build enduring businesses,” DBA CEO Raina Penchansky said in a statement. “Alina and the V1sion Ventures team have built an impressive company rooted in those values.”
The deal lands amid a broader wave of consolidation in Creator Economy management and marketing, as companies including Publicis Groupe and Accenture have acquired platforms and agencies such as Captiv8 and Whalar. U.S. Influencer Marketing spend is projected to top $12 billion this year, with social-media creator revenue expected to exceed $20 billion, according to eMarketer figures.
