NewGen Launches AI Content Studio, Names Jordan Carroll as Chief AI Officer
NewGen, a social-first creator and Influencer Marketing agency, has launched “Social AI Studio,” a new service built into “Multiple,” its proprietary social and creator intelligence platform, and named Jordan Carroll as Chief AI Officer to lead the effort.
Social AI Studio combines NewGen’s AI technology with its social media marketing and strategy work, and is already running AI content programmes for brand clients in beauty, technology and gaming, with more clients onboarding, according to the company. NewGen said the service cuts social video production time from around three days to around four hours by bringing concept, storyboarding, client approval, filming and editing into a single workflow. NewGen’s creative teams direct the work and make edits by describing changes in plain language, and the system flags emerging trends and draws on past content performance to inform new output. NewGen said the platform is built in-house and customized per brand, with brand guidelines embedded from the start, distinguishing it from off-the-shelf AI tools.
Carroll joins NewGen full-time with divisional P&L responsibility, having previously founded Innovative Social, an AI studio building marketing tools and consumer applications, according to the announcement. He is credited with architecting NewGen’s AI capability prior to taking the newly created role.
“Our ambition has always been to push social and influencer marketing forward, creating iconic work that is relevant to culture and delivers for our clients,” said Mike Craddock, CEO and co-founder of NewGen. “Social AI Studio takes that further. It equips our expert teams to make content with the speed, scale and insight that global brands now need to compete.”
“Brands no longer have to choose between content that’s fast and content that’s high quality,” Carroll said. “By pairing our technology with the creative and cultural thinking of our teams, we can partner with brands to redefine moving at the speed of culture.”
Social AI Studio extends work NewGen began in May, when it launched Multiple as a platform to manage creator campaign execution end to end, covering creator matching, outreach, approvals, publishing, performance tracking, contract generation and payment tracking. NewGen said at the time that Multiple could get campaigns live up to ten times faster than manual workflows and included rate benchmarking and contract compliance checks against UK ASA and U.S. FTC rules. Social AI Studio applies that same production-speed thesis to content creation itself rather than campaign operations.
The launch is part of NewGen’s broader push into technology and data, supported by a multi-million-pound investment from growth investor BGF secured in 2024. Founded in 2015 by Craddock and Chris Parnell, NewGen operates across London, Manchester, New York and Paris and counts Reebok, PepsiCo, Samsung, KRAFTON, Campari, Premier Foods, SEGA and Gillette among its clients.
