Creator Economy Event Calendar – June 22, 2026 – Cannes Lions, VidCon, and Creator Events From France to California

The last full week of June concentrates Creator Economy programming across Europe and North America, anchored by the Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity in southern France and VidCon’s 15th annual edition in Anaheim. Events span the Croisette from the main festival, its dedicated creator track, and two brand activations, to a travel creator conference in Richmond, Virginia, an innovation festival in Bologna, and creator networking and monetization events in California and London. Cannes Lions Festival 2026

The Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity gathers advertising and creative marketing professionals in Cannes for five days of programming, awards ceremonies, workshops, and networking. The 2026 edition features six content streams, including the newly introduced Cannes Lions Deconstructed alongside Insights and Trends (co-curated with Contagious), Innovation Unwrapped, and Creativity Toolbox. Dedicated programs include the newly launched LIONS Sport, LIONS Creators, and LIONS B2B. Oprah Winfrey receives the 2026 Cannes LionHeart award, which recognizes individuals who have used their platform to drive meaningful positive change. LIONS Creators

LIONS Creators introduces a dedicated Creator Economy program and venue within Cannes Lions, produced in partnership with Adobe. The track occupies an exclusive beach space at Palais Beach with a dedicated stage, content studio, editing suite, and meeting areas organized around the business of influence. Confirmed speakers include Mel Robbins, author and host of The Mel Robbins Podcast; Dhar Mann, founder of Dhar Mann Studios; and creators Hannah Stocking, Max Klymenko, Jennifer Awirigwe, and Chingu Amiga. Scheduled programming includes a Kick-Off Breakfast, a Microsoft Creators Night featuring Yusuf Mehdi and Mel Robbins with music from Sofi Tukker and Club 1BD, an Awards Watch Party, and an invite-only Creators and Marketers Mixer. Creator passes are priced at €1,245 plus 20% sales tax and require an application; availability is limited.

UTA Beach at Cannes Lions 2026

United Talent Agency (UTA) returns to the Croisette with its festival hub for creators, entertainment executives, and brand leaders. The Main Stage runs Monday through Thursday from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. The confirmed Monday program features Paris Hilton in conversation with UTA Chief Executive Officer David Kramer, The Home Edit founders Joanna Teplin and Clea Shearer, a panel on nostalgia and AI featuring creator Kate Bartlett alongside Nike Global Senior Director of Entertainment and Celebrity Partnerships Sari Katz and Cosmopolitan and Seventeen Editor-in-Chief Willa Bennett, and Beast Industries President and Chief Executive Officer Jeffrey Housenbold. Additional confirmed featured speakers across the week include Priyanka Chopra Jonas, Mel Robbins, Karlie Kloss, Olandria Carthen, and Draymond Green. Facilities include a Creator Lounge, advisory meeting spaces, and a podcast studio. UTA After Dark events are invite-only. The event drew more than 6,000 attendees in 2025. Night Before VidCon

RockWater hosts the Night Before VidCon at the Expert Dojo rooftop in Santa Monica, co-hosted with Owl & Co, Content Forge, and Red Seat Ventures. The event is officially partnered with VidCon for the first time and brings together 200-plus founders, executives, and investors active in the Creator Economy, digital media, and technology. Programming centers on networking and an open bar. The event is curated for founders, CEOs, senior executives, and investors; service providers are required to sponsor for entry. The half-day program examines what brand marketers need to reconsider in a creator-led media environment, structured around three discussion themes: feed-native creative strategy and the shift away from legacy brand frameworks, audience-participatory formats including micro-dramas, and how senior marketing leaders are restructuring teams and budgets around social content velocity. Attendees have access to conversations with brand leaders, creators, and platform representatives, as well as introductions to the 20 winners of the Billion Dollar Boy Creator Fund. WMF Creators Fest

WMF Creators Fest returns as the dedicated Creator Economy track within WMF (We Make Future), an international innovation festival held at BolognaFiere. The 2026 edition builds on the previous year’s event, which featured more than 150 creators, with programming across dedicated stages covering social media strategy, content marketing, music and the arts, and gaming. Core activations include creator talks and interviews on the WMF Mainstage, C2B (Creators to Business) meetings pairing brands with creators for collaboration opportunities, an Open Stage for creator presentations, and a Creators Live space supporting live content production across all three days. Programming runs 10 AM to 7 PM, with doors opening at 8:30 AM. General admission tickets are priced at £40.
