Alo Yoga Charters Superyacht as Floating Wellness Club for French Riviera Influencer Campaign Timed to Cannes, Monaco GP
Alo Yoga chartered the Silver Fox, a 72-meter Sanlorenzo superyacht with a weekly rate starting at €900,000, as the centerpiece of an invitation-only influencer activation along the French Riviera in May 2026.
The campaign, titled “Alo Voyage: Wellness Club at Sea,” launched on May 17 with the vessel docked opposite the Hôtel Martinez in Cannes during the 2026 Cannes Film Festival, before sailing to Monaco for the Formula 1 Grand Prix weekend.
The Silver Fox is the inaugural hull of Sanlorenzo’s new 74Steel flagship series, with exteriors designed by Zuccon International Project and interiors by Francesco Paszkowski Design in collaboration with Margherita Casprini. At 1,800 gross tons, it is the largest yacht the Italian shipyard has ever built. The vessel features a diesel-electric propulsion system developed with Siemens Energy. Its wellness amenities include a fully equipped gym with a fold-down sea terrace, massage suite, sauna, hammam, cold plunge pool, hair salon, Jacuzzi, and hydroponic vegetable cabinets. It accommodates 12 guests with a crew of 21, according to BOAT International.
Alo Yoga programmed the vessel with onboard wellness services including deck-side Pilates, EMS training, IV therapy, lymphatic drainage, chiropractic treatments, and ice baths. Invited participants generated social media content featuring onboard workouts, recovery sessions, and sunpad lounging. Vogue France partnered with Alo on the activation.
Influencer Program
During the concurrent Monaco Grand Prix weekend, Alo organized exclusive morning Pilates sessions at Monaco’s Mareterra venue for over 500 models and influencers. Attendees included Kelly Piquet, Kika Gomez, Alexandra Saint Mleux, Rebecca Donaldson, and Magui Corceiro, whose combined audience exceeded 6.5 million followers. Participants received personalized Alo sets and on-site professional content creation support.
Broader Riviera Activation
The yacht was one component of a wider regional push. Alo opened a boutique on Rue Gambetta in Saint-Tropez on May 7 and a second on La Croisette in Cannes on May 11. The brand also transformed the Hôtel Martinez pier into a seaside wellness retreat featuring 40 custom sun loungers and movement programs, running through June 14, 2026.
The program also included morning yoga sessions at La Plage du Martinez, an Alo Run Club along La Croisette, and sound healing and yoga classes at Hôtel La Ponche in Saint-Tropez. Alo is simultaneously building a 2,000-square-meter flagship on the Champs-Élysées.
The campaign has generated critical commentary on social media, including an Instagram reel posing the question “When does marketing become out of touch?” amid debate over the activation’s exclusivity.
