AiMCO Recognizes Top Creators, Brands, And Agencies At Inaugural Sydney Summit And Awards

The Australian Influencer Marketing Council (AiMCO) held its 2025 AiMCO Awards in Sydney, following the organization’s inaugural AiMCO Summit. Hosts Daniel “Olan” Olaniran and Ibrahim “Ibby” Akbar presided over the ceremony, which recognized campaigns, marketing teams, brands, agencies, technology companies, and creators.

Summit Highlights

The AiMCO Summit brought together brands, agencies, platforms, and creators for a full day of keynotes, panels, and workshops under the theme “The Creator Era – Exploring Creators, Culture and Commerce.” 

Attendees heard from representatives of MECCA, Tourism Australia, Influence @ WPP Media, Are Media, HELLO, Fabulate, Original Audio, Spawnpoint Media, and Sticki. Creator speakers included Anthony Rabdello-Jahn of Donut Daddy, Alright Hey, Taz & Alessia, Ryan Jon, Toni Lodge of the Toni and Ryan Podcast, Sam Fricker, and Steph De Sousa.

Top Honors

Content creator Adelle Petropoulos received the inaugural AiMCO People’s Choice Creator award. 

HELLO and Paramount Pictures won the Most Influential Campaign award for “Mission: Impossible Night Run,” a campaign that targeted Gen Z audiences. Uber Australia took home the marketing team of the year following what judges described as creatively led work that delivered measurable brand uplift.

“Influencer Marketing has become central to marketing strategy, with brands increasing investment as they see its ability to build relevance, trust, and deliver measurable results,” AiMCO Managing Director Patrick Whitnall said in a statement.

Brand and Campaign Winners

HELLO won multiple brand category awards, taking best food and beverage campaign and best integrated campaign for Wingstop’s Australian launch, as well as best family, parenting, and pets campaign for Huggies. Publicis Collective won the best health, fitness, sport, and wellness campaign for Zyrtec, while Tourism Australia claimed the influence for good campaign award for “Australia is for Everyone.”

HELLO and We Are Different jointly won both the most effective campaign for ROI and the most effective collaboration for U by Kotex’s Ultrathins Conversation Cards.

Industry and Creator Recognition

Daniella Kinda of Wavemaker and Influence @ WPP Media received the AiMCO Trailblazer of the Year award. OMG Content | Creo won both best large agency and best Influencer Marketing technology or service, while Ernest Agency took best boutique agency. Click Media won the best talent management agency.

On the creator side, Steph De Sousa won best food and beverage creator and best long-term ambassador for her partnership with Aldi Australia. Spawnpoint Media won best creator-led business, and the Toni and Ryan podcast claimed best creator-led podcast.
