B2B Influencer Marketing Platform Execfluence.io Closes Series A as Onboarding Runs 350% Ahead of Target

Execfluence.io, which describes itself as the first dedicated B2B Influencer Marketing platform, has closed a Series A funding round after onboarding brands and creators at a pace 350% ahead of its internal targets, according to Dealroom.

The round follows a period of operating in functional beta, during which the company generated live performance data across both sides of its marketplace. Investors evaluated actual onboarding volume, revenue and retention figures rather than forecasts.

With the raise closed, according to Dealroom, Execfluence.io is moving into a development phase that includes an expanded feature set and infrastructure built to handle larger transaction volumes. Co-founder Mark Mills and the team are preparing additional features as the platform scales.

That demand has been building for several years without a dedicated venue to meet it. B2B Influencer Marketing has shifted from a marginal spending line to a category enterprise software companies now fund directly, with brands paying creators five and six figures for LinkedIn posts and buyers increasingly starting purchase research with a trusted creator’s post rather than an analyst report. The practitioners running these programs have described the category as functioning closer to PR than traditional Influencer Marketing, built on relevance and trust rather than reach, and creators in the space have pointed to a similar economic logic: a single lead from a niche, high-trust creator can be worth far more to a vendor than the reach a lifestyle creator commands.

That growth has occurred largely off standard Influencer Marketing infrastructure, run instead through direct outreach, LinkedIn relationships and agency deals negotiated case by case. Attribution has also been a persistent complaint among B2B marketers, given sales cycles that run six to 18 months and committee-based buying decisions that make it difficult to trace a closed deal back to a single post.

Execfluence.io’s cost model is priced to undercut Google AdWords, and the company points to revenue tracking ahead of forecast as evidence of repeat spend from brands rather than one-off experimentation.
