Patreon Seeks Senior Strategic Partner Manager To Drive Growth For Top Creators
Patreon is recruiting a Senior Strategic Partner Manager to oversee its highest-impact creators as the platform surpassed $10 billion in creator payments since its 2013 founding. The role, reporting to the Head of Top Creator Management, will be based in New York, San Francisco, or Los Angeles with a hybrid work model requiring two days in-office weekly.
The position offers compensation between $144,000-$216,000 plus equity, targeting candidates with seven-plus years in customer success or partner management and four-plus years of creator economy experience.
Role Focus
The Senior Strategic Partner Manager will manage a portfolio of top-earning creators, lead strategy sessions to grow communities and revenue, and analyze creator performance through data-driven research. Additional responsibilities include responding to creator inquiries, managing complex deal structures, and championing creator feedback to product teams.
“I’m looking for candidates with a data- and insights-driven mindset, strong partner management and growth strategy background, product expertise, and experience with advising and building content-led businesses,” Lina Renzina, who leads creator partnerships at Patreon, wrote on LinkedIn.
Broader Platform Development
With features like free memberships, community chats, and ad-free live video tests, Patreon is broadening its scope beyond payments toward a more comprehensive creator platform. The company now supports 25 million paid memberships and 300,000 creators, with an additional 100 million free memberships generating more than $2 billion annually for creators.
According to Patreon CFO Carlos Cabrera, the company has “barely scratched the surface” with market penetration “likely below 0.5%” of the total creator market.
The platform continues diversifying its offerings, with fans watching more than 80 million hours of video last year. Podcast creators alone received $472 million in 2023, while the company tests new features including ad-free live video uploads.
For qualified candidates, the role offers opportunities to understand creator business models, build relationships with multifaceted creator teams, and shape product development for the expanding creator economy.
