WasabiCard Expands Stablecoin-Powered Payment Infrastructure for Livestreaming, Creator Businesses

WasabiCard is expanding its stablecoin-powered payment platform to serve livestreaming platforms and creator agencies managing distributed talent networks across more than 200 countries and regions.

The Singapore-based payment infrastructure provider said in an announcement that its platform and API let Creator Economy businesses handle regional team payroll, bulk creator and host payouts, commission and revenue-share distribution, freelance production payments, and business expense cards from a single system. Businesses fund payment operations with stablecoins, and WasabiCard converts and settles those funds into local fiat currencies directly to recipients’ bank accounts through local payment rails. The company currently supports payouts in more than 30 fiat currencies, along with virtual and physical card services in supported markets.

“The globalization of the Creator Economy is changing how businesses manage money. A single content operation can involve hosts, creators, MCN agencies and production teams across multiple markets,” said Ray Yang, co-founder and CEO of WasabiCard. “Stablecoins give businesses greater flexibility in moving funds globally, while local payment infrastructure enables that liquidity to reach the people and businesses that need to be paid. We want to connect these two layers so that global payments can become a seamless part of everyday operations.”

The platform is designed to integrate with businesses’ existing payroll, creator-management, or financial systems, funding and executing payments while routing transaction data back into internal finance systems through APIs. A centralized dashboard lets businesses track payment status and fund flows across markets.

The expansion targets a persistent operational gap in how creator businesses handle money. A November 2025 Visa report found that despite 68% of creators identifying as small business owners, 86% finance their operations through personal funds and 75% use personal credit or debit cards for business expenses, with only 19% using dedicated business cards. That same report found 52% of creators already receive payments globally, and just 28% access specialized creator funding options such as platform funds or creator loans.

WasabiCard describes itself as a global payment infrastructure platform serving enterprises, fintechs, and internet-native businesses, offering card issuing, multi-currency settlement, stablecoin funding, and embedded payment capabilities.
