Creator-led media company Culture Media is bringing a new approach to college football coverage with its “Culture College Tour,” blending creator content with traditional gameday experiences. The ten-week initiative kicks off this Labor Day weekend at Clemson University.

The tour combines elements of a road trip and a creator house, with participants renting accommodations at each stop to serve as their operational base. Featured talent includes TikTok personalities Elishiva and Frank Michael Smith, seven-footer Big Beau Brown, and longtime Culture Media contributor Chase Young.

The traveling team will produce approximately 100 clips daily, with cameras documenting activities around the clock. “Everything is fair game at all times,” Culture Media COO Sam Holland said in a statement. “Everyone knows they’ll be on-camera 24/7.”

The format draws inspiration from ESPN’s “College GameDay” but tailors the experience for short-form content platforms. Culture Media, which went from sneaker culture coverage to broader sports content targeting younger demographics, sees an opportunity to reimagine traditional football programming for Gen Z and Alpha audiences.

The initiative launches amid a booming Name, Image, and Likeness (NIL) market, which now exceeds $15 million in tracked spending according to athlete marketing intelligence platform Out2Win.

Beyond Game Coverage

Activities extend beyond football coverage to include student interactions, parties, and pre-game tailgates. The social programming features pong tournaments, alumni trivia contests, and tailgate takeovers.

The initiative launches at a time when college-centered content is trending on social platforms, bolstered by phenomena like “Bama Rush” and increased interest in college sports due to NIL opportunities for student-athletes.

The “Culture College Tour” starts in Clemson, South Carolina, with content distributed across TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, and Twitch starting Labor Day weekend.
