Social Media Creator Eric Sedeno Joins UTA As Agency Expands Digital Roster
TikTok and Instagram creator Eric Sedeno has signed with United Talent Agency (UTA) for representation in all areas, marking the latest addition to the agency’s growing digital creator division, per The Hollywood Reporter.
New York-based Sedeno, who has amassed 1.2 million followers on TikTok and nearly 540,000 on Instagram, brings his comedic social media presence to UTA’s expanding roster of digital talent.
The former art director-turned-digital creator joins UTA as the agency actively expands its creator representation globally. The agency’s recent additions include beauty influencer Jackie Aina (with 10 million followers across platforms) and Roblox livestreamer KreekCraft, who brings over 10 million YouTube subscribers averaging 100 million monthly views.
In the UK, UTA recently added three prominent creators—Jack Edwards, Madame Joyce, and Lewis Goodall—who collectively reach over 5 million followers. The agency also appointed Beth Heard, formerly head of talent at London’s Sixteenth agency, to expand its UK Creators division.
The talent firm plans to help Sedeno secure new opportunities across digital media, television, and other platforms.
Brand Collaborations and Content Expansion
Sedeno has established partnerships with major brands including Amazon, Spotify, Meta, Uniqlo, Garnier, Parade, Tubi, and The Ordinary. In December 2023, he co-hosted TikTok’s global music event “In The Mix,” featuring performances by Niall Horan, Cardi B, and other artists.
Beyond social media, Sedeno co-founded the GLAAD Award-nominated podcast “Gay & Afraid” focusing on LGBTQ+ issues. He also launched Groove Gives, a 1970s-inspired fragrance and lifestyle company with his brother Adrian, which donates to charities including meal programs in their hometown of Plano, Texas.
UTA opened its creator practice in 2006, becoming the first agency with dedicated audio and digital talent divisions. The firm now represents more than 140 streamers, creators, and brands across its gaming and esports division alone, with a combined following exceeding 500 million.
