Ludwig’s 2025 Streamer Games Returns With 40 Content Creators Competing In Olympic-Style Challenges

Ludwig Ahgren announced the return of his Red Bull-sponsored Streamer Games for 2025, expanding the competition to feature 40 content creators. The event, scheduled for August 16-17 at Leuzinger High School in Lawndale, California, builds on the success of the 2024 inaugural tournament that attracted peak viewership of 175,500 concurrent viewers and accumulated 1.75 million hours watched.

“We have a bigger cast and the games are more absurd than ever,” Ludwig stated in the announcement. “It’s about competition, community, and – most importantly – finding out which of my friends is surprisingly athletic.”

Eight team captains—Vanillamace, Cinna, jasontheween, ExtraEmily, Fuslie, DisguisedToast, JackSepticEye, and Agent00—drafted from a pool of 32 additional streamers to form complete rosters.

Teams will earn points by winning individual events, with the highest-scoring team claiming the trophy. This format mirrors the 2024 structure, where Team Red Bull emerged victorious.

Competition Events

The 2025 lineup features 14 distinct challenges:

  • Milk Run
  • Bull Royale
  • Archery
  • Tug of War
  • Egg Drop Speedrun
  • Gymnastics
  • Man vs Beast
  • Pretty Derby
  • Tablecloth Pull
  • Volleyball
  • Bridge Joust
  • Musical Chairs
  • Simon Says
  • Pentathlon

Several events return from the 2024 competition, including Gymnastics, Tablecloth Pull, Simon Says, and the Pentathlon, while new additions like Archery and Volleyball expand the competition.

Viewers can watch the competition live through Ludwig’s YouTube and Twitch channels, as well as Red Bull’s Twitch channel. Participating creators are also expected to co-stream their perspectives. For in-person attendance, tickets are available through the Streamer Games website. Ticket holders gain access to a pre-event fan festival, photo opportunities, and exclusive merchandise.

Ludwig, who co-owns Shopify Rebellion through his Moist Esports ventures, has leveraged his audience of over 6 million YouTube subscribers to create large-scale live events that unite diverse creator communities.

The 2024 event averaged 135,000 concurrent viewers across its 13-hour broadcast, showing significant market interest in creator-driven competitive content.
