Libsyn Launches Audience Network as Creator Payouts Hit Record High
Liberated Syndication Inc. (Libsyn) has launched the Libsyn Audience Network (LAN), a new solution designed for audience-based buying across its podcast portfolio, as the company reports record creator payouts and a 48% year-over-year increase in advertising revenue for 2025.
Ad impressions reached 4.5 billion last year, up 46% from 2024, while the number of creators monetizing on the platform grew more than 2.5 times, according to a press release. Libsyn also reports that upfront advertiser commitments entering 2026 doubled compared to the prior year.
“In 2025, we broadened access to scalable monetization, strengthened demand across our marketplace, and entered 2026 with excellent momentum,” said Brendan Monaghan, CEO of Libsyn.
Libsyn added several exclusive hosting and advertising partnerships, including podcasts hosted by comedian Daniel Tosh, rapper Lecrae, theoretical physicist Dr. Sean Carroll, and pop culture personalities Holly Madison and Bridget Marquardt.

LAN gives brands access to episodic and full catalog inventory across Libsyn’s portfolio, supported by audience-based targeting and the company’s existing buying, measurement, and campaign management capabilities. The network spans four ad formats: Host-Read advertising, programmatic Automatic Podcast Ads, Dynamic Ad Insertion, and Integrated Brand Opportunities.
The launch follows Libsyn’s June 2025 removal of download minimums for its programmatic Automatic Podcast Ads feature, which expanded access to monetization for creators regardless of audience size.
