Social Media Strategist

Social Behavior is considering candidates only in the Greater Houston or Austin area for this hybrid remote and on-site role. As a Social Media Strategist, you will present businesses and brands with turnkey social media solutions to create engagement and growth via the agency's products and services, managing incoming lead inquiries with minimal outbound effort.

Duties and responsibilities

• Develop rapport with prospects coming in through lead channels (email, phone, web, referrals).
• Confidently promote the company and its services through client consultations, virtual or in person.
• Craft custom social media strategies for potential clients who are a good fit for the agency, and present proposals.
• Handle contract execution and payment collection, and assist with new client onboarding.
• Work closely with the Account Manager to ensure production teams are prepared for each client's needs.
• Nurture clients via routine check-ins, calls, or visits, and manage lead funnels across all proper channels.
• Create and send a monthly email marketing campaign to the master prospect list.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of experience in a sales, high-acquisition, or consultative B2B sales role, with a proven track record.
• Comfortable managing a sales funnel and CRM system.
• Avid social media user, familiar with marketing opportunities within Instagram and Facebook and with the concept of influencer marketing.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills, and a team-player, goal-oriented attitude.

Compensation: $55,000 starting salary base plus quarterly performance bonus, unlimited PTO, and the option to opt into the company's group health plan. Monday through Friday schedule, no weekends or late nights.
