ESPN Names Fourth Creator Network Class Ahead of First Super Bowl Telecast
ESPN has announced the fourth class of its Creator Network, naming five creators who will document the 2026 NFL season as the network prepares to air its first Super Bowl telecast in February 2027.
The 2026 class includes Chase Murman, founder of The QB Plug; former NFL defensive lineman Isaac Rochell; sports host and reporter Simone Scott; Diana Flores, captain and quarterback of Mexico’s World Champion National Flag Football Team; and sports analytics creator Leah Cammarano, a former Carolina Panthers Football Analytics intern.
The group will produce original content across their own platforms while working with ESPN’s social, production and talent teams throughout the season, including at college football games, marquee NFL events and Super Bowl week in Los Angeles.
“This is a major moment in ESPN’s history, and we have an incredible opportunity to tell that story in new and authentic ways,” said Kaitee Daley, ESPN’s SVP of Digital, Social and Streaming Content. “Partnering with creators who have built passionate communities through their distinctive voices and storytelling styles will help bring fans closer to the people, culture and highlights that will define the road to ESPN’s first Super Bowl.”
The announcement frames the initiative as part of ESPN’s “Year of the Super Bowl,” a yearlong storytelling push tied to the network’s first broadcast of the game. ESPN and ABC will share rights to Super Bowl LXI, set for February 14 at SoFi Stadium.
A Program Ad Networks Have Repeated
The Creator Network launched in 2022 and has grown each year. The 2024 class featured 12 female creators across sports, culture and lifestyle who generated more than 400 million cross-platform views. The 2025 class of five creators, with a combined following of more than 6 million, drove 9.7 million impressions and reached over 3.5 million fans, with ESPN reporting creator content engagement rates up to 13 times higher than typical platform benchmarks.
ESPN is not alone in turning to creators around major sports properties. NBCUniversal brought influencers into its coverage of the Milan Cortina Winter Olympics, and the NBA enlisted more than 200 creators to promote its All-Star Weekend in Los Angeles in February. The Creator Network is supported by Blue Hour Studios, a New York-based social media brand and content strategy agency that helps ESPN identify and develop the program’s creators.
