Destream, a content monetization platform for creators, has expanded into the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), offering local creators access to global payment infrastructure. The move allows creators in the region to generate secure payment links, accept multi-currency payments, and access payouts through destream’s Mastercard debit card.

The platform also introduces a built-in eSIM feature for creators who travel frequently and need to stay connected for content production and audience engagement.

Regional Creator Economy Context

The GCC’s creator ecosystem has grown by approximately 75% over the past two years, reaching around 263,000 influencers across sectors such as lifestyle, fashion, finance, and entertainment. The region’s influencer marketing market surpassed $315.5 million in 2025, according to analyst estimates cited in the announcement.

“The GCC is one of the most dynamic and promising regions for the Creator Economy today. As more influencers and digital entrepreneurs relocate to the region, demand for fast and frictionless payments is rising, and destream addresses this need effectively,” said Tachat Igityan, CEO and founder of destream.

Platform Capabilities and Market Presence

Destream currently supports monetization across Twitch, YouTube, and Instagram. The platform is already in use by creators across Europe and supports more than 20 languages and multi-currency transactions.

In January, destream participated in the 1 Billion Followers Summit in Dubai, one of the region’s largest creator industry events, to introduce the platform to local creators.
