Apple Reportedly Developing ‘Creator Studio’ Bundle For Pro Apps, iOS 26.2 Code Suggests

Apple appears to be preparing a new offering called “Apple Creator Studio,” according to code references discovered in the first beta of iOS 26.2. While Apple has not officially announced the service, the finding comes amid multiple signs of the company expanding its professional creative software ecosystem.

The code reference was first spotted by developer Aaron Perris, who shared the discovery on X. This discovery follows his recent finding of App Store IDs for iPad versions of previously Mac-exclusive professional applications, including Pixelmator Pro, MainStage, Motion, and Compressor.

Apple Insider suggests the “Apple Creator Studio” could be a subscription bundle combining Apple’s professional creative applications. The company currently offers several professional tools, including Final Cut Pro and Logic Pro, available on both Mac and iPad through individual subscriptions priced at around $4.99 monthly or $49 annually (subscription pricing varies by app).

The potential bundle might represent Apple’s response to competitors such as Adobe’s Creative Cloud, which offers access to more than 20 professional applications for $69.99 per month. A consolidated subscription could strengthen Apple’s position in the creative professional market while boosting its services revenue, according to Apple Insider.

Broader Focus on Creator Tools

The possible new service aligns with Apple’s recent focus on content creators. Earlier this year, Apple redesigned the Camera app in iOS 26 with a “Liquid Glass” interface that reduces on-screen elements and improves access to professional video settings, such as frame rates, resolution, and format options.

The company also announced studio-quality audio recording capabilities for AirPods 4, AirPods 4 with Active Noise Cancellation, and AirPods Pro 2, enabling creators to capture high-quality audio without external microphones.

Apple acquired Pixelmator in a 2024/2025 deal, further expanding its professional creative software portfolio. The timing of an official announcement remains unclear, though iOS 26.2 is expected to be released in December.
