AnyMind Group Acquires Japan Live Streamer Agency Bcode To Expand Social Commerce Operations
AnyMind Group announced that it acquired all shares of Bcode Inc., a Japan-based company that manages and supports live streamers. The acquisition marks AnyMind’s 14th acquisition since its 2016 founding, its eighth in Japan, and its second in 2026.
Bcode reports managing more than 300 live streamers in Japan, many of whom operate on TikTok LIVE. The acquisition strengthens AnyMind’s social commerce infrastructure spanning content creation, distribution, and purchasing.
Yuji Sazanami, representative director of Bcode, said the integration creates new opportunities. “As the creator economy evolves, building a support system that spans marketing, commerce, and technology is essential,” Sazanami said in a press release.
“By combining AnyMind Group’s strengths in influencer marketing and e-commerce/D2C, the diverse assets and expertise of GROVE (a fellow group company), and Bcode’s cultivated know-how in live streaming and creator support, we are confident we can create diverse opportunities for success, including live commerce, and forge new economic ecosystems.”
The Bcode acquisition follows two other recent Japan-based acquisitions. In October 2025, AnyMind acquired NADESHIKO Beauty, a creator studio, to establish production capacity for vertical short videos, including product reviews. In January 2026, the company acquired Sun Smile, a distributor and brand developer, to strengthen its online-to-offline support infrastructure.
Bcode’s capabilities complement AnyMind’s existing creator marketing offerings in Japan, which include GROVE, a creator network acquired in 2020. GROVE supports creators through content production, brand collaborations, live streaming, music distribution, live events, merchandise, and brand development.
Platform Integration
Kosuke Sogo, CEO of AnyMind Group, said the acquisition addresses shifts in commerce execution.
“As information exposure originating from social media and video platforms seamlessly connects from viewing to purchasing, and further to e-commerce and offline retail, the nature of support for enterprises is also evolving,” Sogo said. “In social commerce, the ability to continuously create high-quality content and maintain an operational framework that consistently executes alongside creators and livestreamers has become a crucial factor determining brand growth.”
The company stated that social media and video platforms increasingly connect content discovery directly with purchasing, making two capabilities important for brands: the ability to continuously produce commerce-ready content and the ability to systematically manage creators and live streamers at scale.
AnyMind stated it will advance social commerce efforts by deepening online-to-offline support and enhancing operations using AI.
