Amouranth Returns To Twitch After Claiming She Earned $38 Million From Kick
Content creator Kaitlyn “Amouranth” Siragusa announced her return to Twitch nearly two years after signing with rival platform Kick. Siragusa initially revealed the move in a video posted to X on June 19, which included a “$38 million later” screen transition, suggesting substantial earnings during her tenure with Kick.
As Dexerto reports, the original announcement video featured Siragusa at a 7-Eleven gas station before driving off in a green car with a “Kick Com” license plate. The car then transforms from Kick’s signature green to Twitch’s purple color scheme. However, Siragusa later deleted this post and replaced it with a nearly identical video on June 20 that omitted the monetary reference.
While the exact details of Siragusa’s original Kick deal were never publicly disclosed, she previously stated in an interview with Dexerto that the partnership “doubled” her income. The now-deleted “$38 million” reference would suggest earnings of approximately $19 million annually from her Kick arrangement.
This aligns with Kick’s strategy of offering substantial contracts to attract high-profile streamers. The platform previously made headlines with xQc’s deal, reportedly worth between $70 million and $100 million. Recent platform activity also shows significant creator earnings potential, with streamer Asmongold reportedly earning more from two Kick streams than a typical month on Twitch.
Platform Differences and Creator Relationships
Siragusa, who maintains over 6.2 million Twitch followers despite her Kick partnership, has previously praised Kick for its “openness, transparent communication, and willingness to engage creators.” In contrast, she criticized Twitch for never publicly acknowledging her contributions despite being one of its top female streamers.
Siragusa has experienced at least eight bans on Twitch throughout her career, while reportedly facing no such restrictions during her time on Kick, which is known for its less restrictive content policies.
It remains unclear whether Siragusa has signed an exclusive deal with Twitch or if she will continue multistreaming across platforms. Given her presence on other platforms, including OnlyFans, and Kick’s recent shift away from exclusive contracts toward encouraging multi-streaming, a non-exclusive arrangement appears likely.
The streamer currently maintains 265,900 followers on Kick compared to her larger Twitch audience, indicating potential strategic value in maintaining a Twitch presence despite her reportedly lucrative period with Kick.
