TikTok has announced the shortlist for the TikTok Awards UK 2026, naming 79 creators across 13 categories, including a new TikTok Shop founder award. Sky returns as headline partner.

The ceremony takes place on December 1, at a central London location, with a live performance from rapper Tinie Tempah. TikTok opened its in-app voting hub on November 5. Voting closes on Wednesday, November 18, and is available only through the TikTok app, where users can search “TikTok Awards” to find the nominees.

Categories and Nominees

Sky presents the “Creator of the Year,” “Sport Creator of the Year,” and “Entertainment Creator of the Year” categories. The “Creator of the Year” shortlist includes @ash_holme & @jackremmington (jointly), @kylethomas, @munyachawawa, @meganhbolton, @eatingwithtod and @fredasquith. Last year’s winner was Max Klymenko (@maxklymenko).

e.l.f. Cosmetics presents “Rising Star Creator of the Year” and “Fashion & Beauty Creator of the Year.” Volkswagen presents “Auto Creator of the Year,” and National Year of Reading presents “BookTok Creator of the Year.” The remaining categories are “Voice of Change,” “Food,” “Learning,” “Travel,” and “Lifestyle.”

The new “TikTok Shop Creator of the Year” category is for founders who have built a business on TikTok Shop. Its nominees are @bssetofficial, @griphair, @soulanalyse, @lopwert, @malikbutchers and @looseinachazzashop.

The evening will include interactive moments from brand partners Sky, e.l.f. Cosmetics, Pepsi and Volkswagen. TikTok will stream behind-the-scenes content, red carpet interviews with nominees, and the ceremony on TikTok LIVE on @TikTok_UK, starting at 5:30 p.m. on December 1.

Kinda Ibrahim, Head of Content Operations at TikTok EMEA, said the awards “spotlight the ones that spark it,” honoring creators “who entertain, educate, and inspire millions every single day.”

Katie Nelson, Head of Brand Engagement and Influencer at Sky, said: “Supporting the next generation of talent has always been central to Sky’s role in the UK.”

How This Year Compares

The 2026 shortlist is larger than last year’s. In October 2025, the previous edition featured 72 creators across 12 categories, with a ceremony on November 13 in London and voting that closed October 29. This year’s event moves to December 1, with voting open through November 18.

Sky was also headline partner last year, alongside sponsors including Pepsi MAX, BYD and e.l.f. Cosmetics. That edition included e.l.f. hosting an interactive booth and a TikTok Shop LIVE.

TikTok Shop also appeared at TikTok’s first U.S. awards ceremony, held December 18, 2025, at the Hollywood Palladium in Los Angeles. That event included an “Immediately Added to Cart Award for TikTok Shop,” presented by Patrick Starrr. Keith Lee won “Creator of the Year.”
