‘Kill Tony’ Launches Ad-Free Subscription Tier Through Fox’s Red Seat Ventures
“Kill Tony,” the live comedy podcast hosted by Tony Hinchcliffe and Brian Redban, has launched an ad-free subscription tier called “Kill Tony+” on Supercast, marking the first time the show has offered a premium subscription to fans. The move builds on the exclusive multiyear partnership between Kill Tony and Red Seat Ventures (RSV), the creator-led media company of Fox Corporation that acquired Supercast in February.
Subscribers to “Kill Tony+” get an ad-free version of the podcast along with bonus content built for the show’s fan base, including a monthly Ask Me Anything session with Hinchcliffe and a unique camera angle from the live taping released every Monday, designed to simulate the experience of being inside The Comedy Mothership in Austin, where the show now tapes permanently. Subscribers also receive merchandise perks.
“Kill Tony has built one of the most passionate fan bases in comedy, and giving them a direct way to support the show only strengthens that relationship,” said Chris Balfe, CEO of Red Seat Ventures, in a press release. “This is exactly the kind of full-stack model we want for every creator we work with: advertising, distribution and now subscriptions, all working together so Tony and Brian can grow and own their business on their own terms.”
The subscription launch is the latest step in a partnership that began in April, when RSV signed on as “Kill Tony’s” exclusive ad sales and distribution partner across Fox’s streaming platforms, including Tubi and FOX One, as well as YouTube and other third-party services. That deal followed Fox Corporation’s acquisition of Red Seat Ventures in February 2025 and came the same month FOX One added eight podcast series from Fox News Media and RSV to its platform.
“Kill Tony” has amassed nearly three million subscribers on YouTube and nearly three million downloads per episode across Spotify and Apple Podcasts. The show blends stand-up, improv, and comedy talent discovery, and its live tapings consistently sell out within minutes.
“Kill Tony+” extends a broader push by RSV to move its roster of more than 40 creators beyond advertising as a single revenue stream.
