WPP Names Ogilvy’s EMEA Influence Chief to Network-Wide Role
WPP has appointed Imogen Coles, who has led Influencer Marketing for Ogilvy across Europe, the Middle East and Africa, to a new position overseeing influence strategy across agencies within its network. Coles took on the role, titled Head of Influence, EMEA, at WPP in July, while retaining her existing title of Head of Influence, EMEA, and Managing Partner at Ogilvy, a post she has held since December 2025.
Coles has spent more than seven years at Ogilvy, joining in February 2019 as senior influence director and moving through influence program director, influence business director and UK head of influence before taking on the EMEA-wide managing partner role. In that capacity she has led a team of more than 120 people delivering influencer strategy for clients including Unilever, L’Oréal, The Coca-Cola Company and LEGO.
Coles also serves as an industry advisor to the IPA’s effectiveness leadership group, sits on the board of an Influencer Marketing trade body, and participates in ASBOF’s self-regulation taskforce. Outside her agency work, she has built her own following as a content creator, with more than 125,000 followers across her personal channels, and has been named one of the “Top 30 Trailblazing Women in Influencer Marketing.”
Her earlier career included account management and social media roles at OLIVER Agency, The Big Shot, Appnova and Say Fromage, dating back to 2010.
