Snapchat, McDonald’s Partner To Offer Rewards Members One-Month Snapchat+ Subscription
Snapchat and McDonald’s USA have launched a partnership allowing MyMcDonald’s Rewards members to exchange points for a one-month Snapchat+ subscription. The limited-time offer runs from June 10 to July 7, marking McDonald’s first digital subscription service redemption option within its rewards program.
Rewards members can redeem 1,500 MyMcDonald’s points for a one-month Snapchat+ subscription through the McDonald’s App. The offer is exclusive to new subscribers and is available while supplies last. Users access the offer through the “More Rewards” section by selecting the Snapchat+ icon to receive a unique redemption code.
“Our fans want rewards that bring them feel-good moments — they want experiences that are social, relevant, and rewarding,” said Jackie Bruzek, VP Customer Engagement at McDonald’s USA, in an announcement. “Offering a month of Snapchat+ as part of our Rewards program allows us to meet them where they are, in a way that feels fun and fresh.”
Subscription Growth and User Base Expansion
The collaboration comes as Snapchat+ reached nearly 15 million subscribers, generating $152 million in “other revenue” during the first quarter of 2025, representing a 75% year-over-year increase. This subscription service offers users exclusive features, including customizable app icons, chat wallpapers, and AI-generated Bitmoji pets.
“With nearly 15 million Snapchat+ subscribers, it’s clear that our community values exclusive, expressive features,” stated Katelyn Kroneman, U.S. Head of Verticals at Snap Inc.
McDonald’s brings significant reach to the partnership with over 150 million rewards members globally using the app to earn points, access exclusive deals, and order ahead. Meanwhile, Snapchat reports 460 million daily active users and 900 million monthly active users as of Q1 2025.
