Podean Acquires TikTok Shop Partner Social Commerce Club
Podean, an independent global marketplace marketing agency, has acquired Vancouver-based Social Commerce Club (SCC), a TikTok Shop “Platinum Partner” agency. According to an announcement, the deal is Podean’s sixth acquisition in nine months and adds 70 specialists focused on TikTok Shop strategy and social commerce to the firm.
SCC was named the platform’s “2026 Partner of the Year in Fashion.” Its client roster includes HeyDude, which the agency helped position as TikTok Shop’s “Top Growth Seller of the Year,” along with Hanes, Maidenform and Playtex. The agency’s model spans shop setup, creator-led sales execution, and high-velocity “blitz” campaigns.
Under the deal, SCC will retain its brand name, with CEO Parker Kump leading the combined group and President Jordan West continuing to oversee strategy, growth and marketing. SCC’s “Halo” platform, which tracks the cross-channel sales impact of TikTok Shop content, will be integrated into Podean’s existing “Purvey.AI” system, bringing the combined technology team to more than 30 people.
“What truly sets SCC apart is their scale, deep expertise, the ‘Halo’ platform, and their highly engaged network of creators who have a proven track record of driving performance and top GMV,” said Travis Johnson, Podean’s CEO. “By combining this social expertise with our global marketplace pedigree, we are providing our clients with an unmatched ability to not just drive TikTok Shop sales but leverage that impact across other ecommerce channels, including Amazon and their own website sales.”
The acquisition brings Podean’s global headcount to 465 across 21 countries, with the firm now managing more than $600 million in annual media spend across 110-plus marketplaces, including Amazon, Walmart, Target, Instacart and Mercado Libre. Kump said Podean plans to expand SCC’s footprint further into markets where TikTok Shop and platforms like Whatnot and Shopee operate.
The deal lands as TikTok Shop’s U.S. sales are on track to cross $23.4 billion by the end of 2026, according to the announcement, with social commerce cited as the fastest-growing segment of global retail. That growth has extended to smaller sellers as well as major brands: U.S. small business sales on the platform rose 66% in 2025, with more than 215,000 small businesses now actively selling in the country. A GlobalData report commissioned by the platform found that 67% of consumers turn to TikTok Shop to discover new products, ahead of Amazon and search engines, and that 70% of TikTok Shop consumers have purchased a product recommended by a creator.
