iShowSpeed Announces U.S. Tour Starting Aug. 28
Popular streamer iShowSpeed, whose real name is Darren Watkins Jr., announced a 35-day non-stop livestream tour across the United States branded as “SPEED DOES AMERICA.” The tour begins August 28 at 12 p.m. EST and will continue without breaks until October 2.
The 19-year-old YouTube star plans to visit 24 states and Washington, D.C., covering diverse regions from coast to coast. The project follows his recent European tour, which generated record viewership with a career-high of 437,000 simultaneous viewers across YouTube and Twitch platforms.
Tour Details
The marathon broadcast will stream 24 hours a day on his YouTube channel for the entire duration. While the exact route remains unannounced, Speed confirms visits to major states including California, Texas, New York, Florida, and Pennsylvania.
A promotional trailer shows Speed engaging in quintessential American activities such as riding with bikers, fishing, rodeo events, and competitive eating. The tour comes after a two-week hiatus following his intensive European streams, which Watkins described as preparation for “something huge.”
This tour represents Speed’s longest continuous livestream project to date and follows international broadcasts across Europe, Asia, and South America that have helped grow his subscriber base to over 41.4 million on YouTube.
Following the announcement, fellow content creator MrBeast invited Speed to his North Carolina facility, suggesting a possible collaboration between the two influential creators. North Carolina appears on Speed’s confirmed list of tour destinations.
