Pastry Chef & YouTube Star Amaury Guichon Signs With UTA
French-Swiss pastry chef and chocolate sculptor Amaury Guichon has signed with United Talent Agency (UTA) for representation, per The Hollywood Reporter.
Guichon, known online as “The Chocolate Guy,” has built an audience of roughly 96 million followers across social platforms, including about 23.5 million on YouTube, where he posts videos of large-scale chocolate showpieces such as a working foosball table, dragons, motorcycles and life-sized animals. He runs his own Las Vegas school, Pastry Academy, and continues to be represented by Ethan Cohan at Del Shaw Moonves Tanaka Finkelstein Lezcano Bobb & Dang.
Guichon trained in classical French pastry from age 14 and competed on the 2013 French reality series “Who Will Be The Next Great Pastry Chef?” before joining Jean-Philippe Patisserie, a high-end patisserie in Las Vegas. He began posting how-to chocolate videos in 2016, later opening his Las Vegas academy and publishing the book Art of Flavor in 2018.
His television credits include hosting Netflix’s “School of Chocolate,” in which eight dessert specialists competed for a cash prize and a chance to teach a master class at his academy, along with co-hosting Dessert Masters in Australia and recurring judging roles on Food Network’s “The Ultimate Baking Championship” and “Super Mega Cakes.” “La Liste,” the guide for restaurants, hotels and pastry shops, has named him the world’s most creative pastry chef.
