Colombian Creator’s Boxing Event Breaks Kick’s Streaming Record With 4.6M Concurrent Viewers
Colombian creator Luis “Westcol” Villa‘s Stream Fighters 4 establishes a new viewership benchmark for Kick, drawing 4.6 million concurrent viewers during its October 18 broadcast from Colombia. The boxing event surpassed the previous iteration’s 1.7 million viewership mark, with Westcol’s channel accounting for approximately 4 million of the total audience.
The event follows the established influencer boxing format, combining combat sports with live music and in-arena entertainment featuring Latin American content creators.

Platform Temporarily Outperforms Established Competitors
During the Stream Fighters 4 broadcast, Kick temporarily registered higher active viewership than both Twitch and YouTube, according to platform representatives. The milestone prompted celebration across social media from Kick supporters.
“This next generation of creators produces content at a scale that reflects the shift in how digital audiences consume and engage,” said Ryan Webb, Kick’s Head of Operations. “High-production events driven by creators like Westcol redefine what entertainment can be.”
While setting a new record for Kick, Stream Fighters 4 falls short of the overall Hispanic influencer boxing viewership record. Spanish streamer Ibai’s Velada del Año series on Twitch maintains that distinction, having attracted nearly double the concurrent viewers during its most recent broadcast.
Platform Faces Ongoing Challenges
Despite this viewership success, Kick continues addressing allegations of viewbotting and platform safety concerns as it builds momentum. The streaming platform’s growth opportunity is expanding as industry leader Twitch navigates ongoing controversies.
The achievement demonstrates Kick’s ability to convert creator investments into platform-wide viewership gains. Webb added, “Stream Fighters 4 showed us the community is responding at levels we’ve never seen, and Kick will continue to drive high-impact productions as this potential and energy grow.”
The platform’s trajectory in the competitive streaming landscape shows positive indicators through events such as Stream Fighters, although it still trails established competitors in terms of overall peak viewership numbers.
