Alexander Ludwig Named Global Brand Ambassador for Perry Ellis
Perry Ellis has named actor Alexander Ludwig its new global brand ambassador, with Ludwig fronting the menswear brand’s seasonal campaign set to launch in August.
The partnership arrives as Perry Ellis marks its 50th anniversary, which the brand has built into its broader “50 Years of Style” campaign and repositioning strategy unveiled earlier this year. Ludwig will front the brand’s elevated essentials and tailored pieces as part of that push.
Todd Challe, SVP of Global Marketing and Communications for Perry Ellis, said the actor fits the brand’s next phase. “Alexander embodies the very essence of the modern Renaissance man: dynamic, authentic, and effortlessly versatile,” Challe said in a statement. “As we continue to elevate the brand, his ability to seamlessly transition from the rugged outdoors to the red carpet perfectly mirrors our vision. He is the ideal partner to help us introduce this next chapter of refined, functional luxury to a global audience.”
Ludwig, known for his roles in “Vikings” and “The Hunger Games,” is also a director and musician. “I have been a fan of Perry Ellis for many years and am so grateful to be sharing the stage with a company that celebrates confidence, individuality, and timeless style,” Ludwig said. “I can’t wait for the world to see what they have done with this new collection.”
Ludwig is currently filming the fourth season of “The White Lotus” and is set to appear in “Unabomber” this fall. He also recently wrapped “Hal” opposite Emma Roberts, along with his feature directorial debut, “Billings,” alongside Carla Gugino, in which he also stars.
