Tech Company SuperAwesome Becomes Exclusive Ad Sales Partner for Tinkercast’s ‘Wow in the World’ Podcast
SuperAwesome, a data and technology company focused on Gen Alpha and Gen Z audiences, has entered an exclusive advertising partnership with Tinkercast, the children’s media company behind the kids and family podcast “Wow in the World.”
Under the agreement, SuperAwesome will serve as Tinkercast’s exclusive direct-sales advertising partner, placing brands within “Wow in the World” and Tinkercast’s broader podcast slate.
The deal brings Tinkercast into Awesome Audio, SuperAwesome’s kids and family audio network, which delivers over 18 million listens per month. Tinkercast’s catalog has accumulated 300 million lifetime listens, with 5.7 million hours logged in the past year, according to the announcement.
UTA brokered the partnership.
Audience and Format
“Wow in the World” is hosted by Guy Raz and Mindy Thomas, both named among The Hollywood Reporter’s 50 Most Powerful Players in Kids Entertainment in 2024.
SuperAwesome reports that 92% of parents in the Awesome Audio audience listen alongside their children. Tinkercast describes the show as a 360-degree franchise that includes New York Times bestselling books, a podcast-based toy line, and live events across the U.S.
“Tinkercast has set the bar for what great audio content sounds like,” said Jed Baker, Head of Audio at SuperAwesome. “Partnering with these highly talented creators and the most exciting brands means kids and families can continue to benefit from well-funded and engaging content.”
Expansion Plans
Tinkercast is expanding its content footprint alongside the partnership. The 11th season of “Wow in the World” launched May 4. The company will also release “Two Whats?! And A Wow!” as a weekly vodcast beginning May 8, with simulcast distribution across YouTube and podcast feeds.
“We look forward to growing new relationships with kids, families, and brands in ways that are authentic, trusted, and true to our shared missions,” said Meredith Halpern-Ranzer, CEO and co-founder of Tinkercast.
