Sassy Chap Games Signs With CAA To Expand Creator-Led Gaming IP Across Film, TV, And Beyond
Sassy Chap Games has signed with Creative Artists Agency (CAA) to represent its portfolio of gaming properties, the Los Angeles-based company announced. CAA will work with the studio to develop new game projects and expand existing IP across film, television, publishing, consumer products, and live experiences.
The transmedia company is led by voice actors Robbie Daymond and Ray Chase, whose credits include “Jujutsu Kaisen,” “Final Fantasy XV,” “X-Men ’97,” and “Critical Role.” COO and Chief Content Officer Logan Burdick, a former VP of Production at pocket.watch with additional credits at Maker Studios and Endemol Shine, rounds out the executive team.
“In an era where community is the ultimate currency, collaborating with artists and talent who have built-in fan bases to bring our games to life creates a strong foundation for our IP to grow from day one,” said Daymond. “Partnering with CAA will allow us to expand these worlds across every medium fans touch.”
Matthew Cohen, Games Agent at CAA, said the agency plans to support Sassy Chap in “expanding these worlds for global audiences,” citing the company’s “creator-led, fan-powered approach” as positioning it to grow IP across gaming, publishing, and consumer products.
Date Everything! Drives Franchise Expansion
The CAA partnership follows the commercial performance of Sassy Chap’s debut title, “Date Everything!,” which has sold more than 725,000 copies and generated billions of impressions globally since its June 2025 launch, according to the announcement. The game features a cast of more than 100 voice actors and creator figures, including Felicia Day, Matthew Mercer, and Troy Baker.
The studio recently announced a consumer products partnership with collectibles company Youtooz, launching a plush collection featuring four characters selected by the community. The collaboration marks Sassy Chap’s first entry into the toy and collectibles market.
