Quince spent an estimated $6.9 million in June, up 13.1% from $6.1 million in May, Magellan AI’s monthly rankings show. Shopify followed at $6 million, a 30.4% increase, and Toyota placed third at $5.7 million, up 21.3%. BetterHelp ($5.5 million) and T-Mobile ($4.1 million) rounded out the top five, though T-Mobile’s spend declined 10.9% from the prior month.

Hims & Hers logged the largest percentage gain among returning advertisers, rising 54.5% to $3.4 million. DraftKings increased spend 40% to $3.5 million, and Progressive grew 17.9% to $3.3 million. Amazon posted the steepest drop in the top 15, falling 57.1% to $3.3 million from $7.7 million in May. Lilly, Microsoft and State Farm entered the rankings with no comparable May figure.

Magellan AI’s estimates account for ad volume, episode downloads, CPM rates, ad formats, podcast revenue benchmarks and brand share of voice across shows, drawing on data from the top 3,000 U.S. podcasts.

In March, Quince led with an estimated $6.57 million, placing its ads primarily in comedy programming, ahead of BetterHelp and Amazon. Sports programming dominated genre placement among most top spenders that month.

Separately, competing measurement firm Podscribe published its own June podcast advertiser ranking, which showed Shopify in the top spot at $5.7 million and Quince in fourth at $4.2 million, a notably different order and set of figures than Magellan AI’s for the same month. The two firms’ differing methodologies, including how each estimates downloads and CPMs, would explain the divergence, and the figures should not be read as interchangeable measures of the same spend.

Magellan AI’s report does not disclose individual advertiser campaign goals or whether June’s spending levels reflect longer-term commitments, and estimated figures may differ from actual contracts between advertisers and podcast publishers.
