LinkedIn Expands Ad Transparency With New Job Library Feature

LinkedIn expands its Ad Library database with a new Job Library segment, providing oversight of paid job listings on the platform. The publicly available database allows users to search through promoted positions using filters for company, keyword, country, and date range, per Social Media Today.

“LinkedIn’s Job Library gives you information about paid job posts that have run on LinkedIn,” the company stated in its announcement. The database includes all jobs listed on LinkedIn since April 2025, with records remaining accessible for one year after positions close.

For job posts within the European Union, the Job Library displays targeting parameters selected by employers, including location targeting and skills requirements. The tool also provides impression metrics for EU job posts, showing estimated total impressions and a country-by-country breakdown.

“For paid job posts in the European Union, the LinkedIn Job Library shows the targeting parameters selected by the job poster when posting their job,” LinkedIn explained. “Job posts are visible to all members and not targeted to the same extent as ads.”

The Job Library expansion builds on LinkedIn’s Ad Library launch in 2023, aligning with data transparency requirements. The database provides information about ads served on LinkedIn, including job post content, company name, payer name, restriction status, and active dates.

Growing Platform for Professional Content

This development comes as LinkedIn strengthens its position as a hub for professional content and advertising. Recent research shows LinkedIn’s video content increased 53% in the past year, with impressions up 73.39% and views rising by 52.17%, according to Metricool’s 2025 LinkedIn Study.

The platform now hosts more than 1.2 billion members globally, and according to The Influencer Marketing Factory, 75% of B2B businesses report using LinkedIn influencers in their marketing strategies.

LinkedIn’s Thought Leader Ads demonstrate significant performance improvements, including a 62% decrease in cost-per-click and a 23% reduction in cost-per-lead compared to traditional advertising.
