Grammy-Winning Artist Laufey Signs With UTA for Global Representation
Grammy-winning singer-songwriter Laufey has signed with United Talent Agency (UTA) for global representation in all areas. As reported by Variety, UTA will work to secure opportunities for the artist across live touring, media, filmed entertainment, brand partnerships and other ventures.
The signing lands in the middle of a major world tour behind Laufey’s 2025 album “A Matter of Time,” which reached No. 4 on the Billboard 200 and won a Grammy for “Best Traditional Pop Vocal Album.” The tour runs through North America, the UK, Europe, Asia and Oceania. Her 2023 album “Bewitched” won the same Grammy category the year prior.
Laufey, who is of Chinese-Icelandic descent, was awarded the Knight’s Cross of the Order of the Falcon by Iceland President Halla Tómasdóttir, the country’s highest honor for citizens who have advanced its cultural and international standing. She was also named to Time’s 2025 list of “Women of the Year” and received Variety’s “Crossover Artist of the Year” award at the 2024 Hitmakers event.
The deal adds a major music signing to an agency that has spent the past year expanding on the digital talent side. UTA signed bilingual creator and TV personality Jess Judith for global representation this month, adding her to a digital roster built around brand partnerships, content and unscripted TV opportunities. That signing followed UTA’s representation deals for pastry chef and YouTuber Amaury Guichon, who has roughly 96 million followers across platforms, and creator Eric Sedeno, part of a digital division that has also brought on Jackie Aina, KreekCraft, Jack Edwards, Madame Joyce and Lewis Goodall.
