CreatorWeek 2025 Transforms Macao Into Hub For Content Creators

Macao positions itself as a major destination in the creator economy as it hosts the inaugural CreatorWeek Macao 2025, drawing more than 180 creator groups from around the world. The five-day event runs from October 24-28 across multiple venues in the city, according to a press release.

The event, co-organized by Macao Government Tourism Office (MGTO) and Branded, with Adbeyond Group Macau as a collaborative partner, features 50 keynote speakers and 20 live acts. The opening party on October 24 at Wynn Palace launched a week of creative exchange between Chinese creators and international participants.

The main conference is on October 27-28 at the Grand Lisboa Palace Resort Macau, bringing together content creators and representatives from major platforms including Google, Bilibili, Meta, YouTube, Red, and Douyin. Notable participants include the Stokes Twins and Alan Chikin Chow, who are discussing differences between Eastern and Western creator communities, monetization strategies, and cross-cultural collaboration opportunities.

Beyond Digital Production

CreatorWeek expands beyond typical industry conferences with wellness workshops at MGM’s Fantasy Box led by creators Will Liu and Matt Tralli. Fan engagement opportunities featured Meet and Greet sessions on October 25-26 at The Londoner Macao, where attendees could interact with 40 popular creators including Apl.de.Ap, Steven He, and Berywam.

Galaxy Macau hosts CreatorWeek Live with performances by international artists including K-pop group XODIAC, Japan’s Psychic Fever from EXILE TRIBE, and the Philippines’ Mikey Bustos. The CreatorWeek Academy offers practical workshops on content creation and global market expansion strategies.

Tourism Integration

A Local Community Tour is pairing international creators with local ambassadors to explore Macao’s neighborhoods, cuisine, and culture, generating collaborative content that showcases the city to global audiences.

“CreatorWeek Macao 2025 is unveiling Macao’s unique glamour and rich multicultural heritage to the world,” said MGTO Director Maria Helena de Senna Fernandes, positioning the event as part of Macao’s broader strategy to transform into a world center of tourism and leisure.
