Creator Tech Platform HashFame Launches Tool to Verify Creator-Manager Representation in India
HashFame, a creator-tech platform, has launched a feature letting Indian talent managers and agencies list the creators they represent, with each relationship confirmed directly by the creator.
The feature, called “creator-confirmed representation,” launches with more than 300 talent management agencies on the platform, including IPLIX Media, Collective Artists Network, Pocket Aces, Monk Entertainment and Honeycomb Media. Representation details have typically been scattered across WhatsApp conversations, spreadsheets and personal networks, according to HashFame, making it difficult for brands to identify the right point of contact and for managers to get recognized for the creators they represent as talent moves between firms.
HashFame developed the broader product direction with input from 20 talent agencies that helped identify friction points in how commercial relationships are tracked. The system is built to accommodate both agency-represented creators, whose managers typically handle negotiations, and self-managed creators, who continue to deal directly with brands. The company said it plans to keep updating agency rosters and manager associations as those relationships shift.
“Talent managers are often spoken about as intermediaries in the Creator Economy, but that no longer reflects what the role has become,” said Anirudh Sridharan, co-founder of HashFame. “The best talent managers today are building creator businesses, shaping careers and creating long-term commercial value. As the Creator Economy matures, professional representation is becoming an important part of how creator careers and businesses are built. We believe these relationships should be recognised by the industry, not replaced.”
Sridharan noted that the goal is to make representation “visible and trusted, while keeping the representative at the centre of the commercial relationship,” and framed the move as part of a larger shift in what gets built around creators over time. “We think the next phase of the Creator Economy will be defined not just by how creators monetise their audience, but by what gets built around that talent over time,” he said.
HashFame said its longer-term ambition is to build a connected layer spanning demand, monetization and networks, with wider business operations potentially added over time.
