Theorist and parent company Lunar X announced the return of “Creators in Fashion,” partnering with VidSummit to present what they describe as the largest cross-media creator fashion event of 2025.
The showcase debuts on October 9 on VidSummit’s main stage in Dallas, following last year’s inaugural event that drew approximately 150 in-person attendees and generated four million views across multiple YouTube channels.
The event will feature creators including Cassey Ho of POPFLEX, The Try Guys, The Stupendium, Sydney Morgan, Mia Maples, Mary Allyson, Glam Girl Gabi, Esteffanie, Tom Robinson, and Ash of GTLive. Theorist co-founder MatPat returns as emcee alongside Style Theory Host Amy Roberts.
Beyond runway presentations, the event will incorporate entertainment segments including musical performances, comedy, makeup challenges, and cake decorating. YouTube’s live shopping capability enables viewers to make purchases directly during the livestream. QR codes link to purchasable items, continuing the format established in the original event, which utilized YouTube Shopping’s shoppable video integration.
“Creator-led brands are quickly becoming the dominant force in the marketplace. It’s where the economy is headed,” MatPat said in the announcement.
VidSummit founder Derral Eves added that the event aims to amplify “creators who are turning their digital influence into bold fashion and style statements.”
TheoryVerse Brand Launch
The event will introduce TheoryVerse, Theorist’s new merchandise and fashion brand that includes the return of TheoryWear and collaborations with properties like Poppy PlayTime. The company reports using a poll-informed strategy for product development.
“Creators in Fashion sits at the intersection of business, fandom, and creative passion,” stated Tobias Hoss, SVP Operations at Lunar X, describing their approach as “content-product flywheels that turn audiences into communities and passion into products.”
MatPat has expressed ambitions for Creators in Fashion to become “an annual event akin to Fashion Week for online creators.”
VidSummit 2025 runs October 7-9 in Dallas, Texas.
