Creator Economy Event Calendar – June 8, 2026 – VidCon, Cannes Lions, Craft + Commerce, and More

The mid-June calendar brings a mix of in-person and virtual events targeting independent creators, brand marketers, legal professionals, and Influencer Marketing executives across the United States, France, Italy, and Zambia. Programming spans creator business strategy and email marketing in Boise, governance and legal webinars for brand and agency professionals, creator-brand networking ahead of VidCon’s 15th anniversary edition in Anaheim, a dedicated creator program at Cannes Lions, a multi-platform Italian creator festival, and Africa’s largest creative industry gathering in Lusaka.

Craft + Commerce 2026

Kit’s annual creator conference runs four days at Treefort Music Hall in Boise, targeting independent online creators including bloggers, podcasters, photographers, freelancers, and vloggers. Programming includes 20-minute keynote talks, small-group strategic workshops, and attendee-led meetups. Registration opens Wednesday, June 10, at noon, with an opening party from 5:30 to 8:00 PM. The main conference programming runs Thursday and Friday, with optional meetups on Saturday. LIONS Creators

LIONS Creators, produced by Cannes Lions in partnership with Adobe, runs across the final week of the Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity at Palais Beach in Cannes. The program connects creators with brand decision-makers and marketing leaders through an exclusive beach space featuring a dedicated stage, content studio, editing suite, and meeting areas. Scheduled programming includes a Monday kick-off breakfast; a Monday evening Microsoft Creators Night featuring Yusuf Mehdi of Microsoft and Mel Robbins, host of The Mel Robbins Podcast, followed by a performance by Sofi Tukker; daily workshops; a Wednesday awards watch party on Social and Creator Awards night; and a Thursday invite-only lunch bringing together creators and brand marketers. Night Before VidCon

RockWater hosts the Night Before VidCon at the Expert Dojo rooftop in Santa Monica, co-hosted with Owl & Co, Content Forge, and Red Seat Ventures. The event is officially partnered with VidCon for the first time and brings together 200+ founders, executives, and investors active in the Creator Economy, digital media, and technology. Programming centers on networking and an open bar. The event is curated for founders, CEOs, senior executives, and investors; service providers are required to sponsor for entry. WMF Creators Fest

The WMF Creators Fest returns as a dedicated track within the broader We Make Future (WMF) festival at BolognaFiere in Bologna. The three-day program expands on the 2025 edition, which featured over 150 creators, and runs across dedicated stages covering content marketing, social media strategies, music and art, gaming and esports, audio and visual production, and the WMF Mainstage. Core programming includes Creators on Mainstage talks and interviews, Creators Live (a dedicated space for live content creation and streaming), Open Stage programming, and C2B (Creators to Business) meetings facilitating brand-creator collaborations. VidCon Anaheim 2026

VidCon celebrates its 15th anniversary at the Anaheim Convention Center, positioned as the world’s largest gathering dedicated to digital culture and its creators. Founded by John and Hank Green and now part of the FAN EXPO business, the 2026 edition introduces a VidCon+ Pass alongside the existing VidCon, Creator, and Pro Pass options, as well as single-day tickets and family bundles. New features include the Brand Match Accelerator, an invitation-only networking program for brand-creator partnerships, and GorillaCon, a dedicated experience for the Gorilla Tag creator community. The 2026 Hall of Fame inductees are Markiplier, Michelle Phan, Casey Ho, and Philip DeFranco. Africa Creative Market (ACM) 2026

The Africa Creative Market (ACM) marks its five-year milestone with a six-day flagship event in Lusaka produced jointly with the Creative Industry Business Summit (CIBS) Zambia 2026 and the Kwimbo National Arts Festival. The 2026 edition, themed “Where Creativity, Technology & Collaboration Harness Global Greatness,” runs across two venues: main programming takes place at Mulungushi International Conference Centre from June 29 through July 2, followed by a two-day continuation at Polo B, Lusaka Showgrounds on July 3 and 4. Programming spans film and television, music, fashion and apparel, dance, art, and photography. The event connects African creatives with trade finance, investment, training, and international partners. The 2025 edition drew more than 10,000 participants from seven continents. The event is powered by Zambia’s Ministry of Youth, Sport and Arts and Ascend Studios Foundation, and supported by the National Arts Council of Zambia.
