Crooked Media Adds ‘Adam Mockler,’ ‘The Argument,’ and ‘Weekly Skews’ to Political Podcast Ad Sales Network

Crooked Media has added “Adam Mockler,” “The Argument,” and “Weekly Skews” to its political podcast and digital sales network, expanding the roster of shows available for host-read advertising beyond the company’s own programming. The three join “No Lie” with Brian Tyler Cohen and “The Joy Reid Show,” which were already part of the network, according to an announcement.

Crooked holds exclusive rights to sell host-read advertising across the shows’ RSS feeds and YouTube channels. The arrangement lets advertisers reach political audiences through hosts outside Crooked’s owned-and-operated lineup, while extending the company’s host-read ad model to a wider slate of voices. The expanded network is available to advertisers immediately.

The move builds on a sales infrastructure Crooked has been assembling for its own shows for years. In February, the company signed a multi-year hosting and ad sales partnership with Audioboom running through the 2028 presidential election, under which Audioboom manages global distribution and host-read ad sales for “Pod Save the UK” while Crooked’s in-house team retains control of advertising across the rest of its slate. That deal covered Crooked’s roughly 40 owned and acquired shows. This latest expansion applies the same host-read sales approach to programming Crooked does not own outright.

Crooked’s flagship network, which includes “Pod Save America,” “Lovett or Leave It,” “Pod Save the World,” “Offline” with Jon Favreau, “Strict Scrutiny” and “Assembly Required” with Stacey Abrams, among others, now generates more than 30 million monthly downloads, up from the more than 25 million reported in February, according to the company.

The sales network expansion follows Crooked’s launch of SANE tv, its FAST channel, and the announcement of Crooked on MS NOW earlier this year. The company also runs the subscription service “Friends of the Pod” across Substack, YouTube, Supercast, and Apple Podcasts, along with a touring business that includes the second annual Crooked Con, scheduled for Washington, D.C. in November.
