PodcastOne Extends Exclusive Deal With A+E Networks, Adding Five Shows to Distribution Portfolio

PodcastOne has renewed its exclusive sales and distribution agreement with A+E Networks, extending rights to five podcasts: “Cold Case Files,” “I Survived,” “American Justice,” “City Confidential,” and “Ancient Aliens.”

The company first entered the A+E partnership in 2017 with a single show. The five podcasts have collectively surpassed 200 million downloads, with each title serving as an audio extension of a corresponding A+E Networks television broadcast.

The renewal adds to PodcastOne’s broader growth trajectory. According to the announcement, the company currently hosts a network of more than 200 podcasters and has surpassed 3.9 billion total downloads across its full roster. Its distribution network reaches over 1 billion monthly impressions across YouTube, Spotify, Apple Podcasts, and iHeartRadio.

All five A+E titles are hosted on Amazon’s ART19 platform, which PodcastOne migrated to enhance operational efficiency and strengthen monetization capabilities.

“At PodcastOne, we’re a full scope podcasting network that operates with a white glove boutique agency philosophy, allowing us to work closely with our partners to grow podcast audiences,” said Kit Gray, President and co-founder of PodcastOne. “We couldn’t be prouder of the impact our relationship with A+E has had on translating their programming to podcast form, and we look forward to collaborating for years to come.”

Programming Breakdown

The renewed agreement covers five shows spanning true crime and science genres:

  • “Cold Case Files,” based on the Emmy-nominated A&E series, follows the investigation of cold cases solved through forensic advances and is hosted by Paula Barros.
  • “I Survived” documents survivor accounts of life-threatening circumstances drawn from the original A&E television series.
  • “American Justice” examines criminal cases through the perspectives of law enforcement and victims.
  • “City Confidential” covers real-life stories from American cities, including cases involving murder and public officials.
  • “Ancient Aliens,” based on The History Channel series, examines theories surrounding extraterrestrial contact throughout human history.

PodcastOne’s broader content portfolio includes “The Adam Carolla Show,” “The Jordan Harbinger Show,” and “Off The Vine with Kaitlyn Bristowe,” among others. Its shows are available on Apple Podcasts, Spotify, YouTube, iHeart, and Amazon.
