PodcastOne Moves To Amazon’s Hosting Service To Unlock Monetization, Advertising Opportunities
PodcastOne has announced the migration of its podcast network to Amazon‘s ART19 hosting service, seeking to streamline content management and advertising operations.
The publisher, which reports 3.5 billion total downloads and reaches over 1 billion monthly listeners, will utilize ART19’s platform for dynamic ad insertion and programmatic advertising capabilities.
The transition enables PodcastOne to integrate advertiser content across its network of 200 top podcasters, including shows such as “The Adam Carolla Show,” “The Jordan Harbinger Show,” and “Court Junkie.”
ART19’s platform provides analytics and audience data on demographics, engagement metrics, and ad performance, allowing PodcastOne to target advertising more precisely.
“Our transition to Amazon’s ART19 platform represents a game-changing moment for PodcastOne,” PodcastOne co-founder & President Kit Gray said in a news release. “We’re not only ensuring the stability of our current monetization streams but unlocking new growth opportunities by leveraging ART19’s cutting-edge technology and advertising opportunities.”
The company’s digital operations director, Ellie Andrews, described the migration as a “major evolution” that will facilitate new industry partnerships.
PodcastOne’s network spans multiple genres: news, comedy, true crime, sports, and culture. The network distributes content across platforms, including LiveOne, Spotify, Apple Podcasts, iHeartRadio, and Samsung, with over 150 shows exclusively available in Tesla vehicles.
Through LaunchpadOne, its self-serve platform subsidiary, PodcastOne also offers independent creators tools to launch, host, distribute, and monetize user-generated podcasts.
“With the addition of PodcastOne titles, we are amplifying our reach across a terrific new spectrum of personalized audio entertainment, enabling us to offer more meaningful connections between audiences and brands,” ART19 CEO Sean Carr said in the release.
Andy Slater, Head of Partnerships for ART19, noted that the collaboration brings together two established podcast industry brands, with PodcastOne among the first podcast networks and ART19 among the first enterprise hosting services.
