V10 Entertainment Acquires Ex-YouTube Executive’s Content Firm, Towerhouse, To Boost Digital Strategy
V10 Entertainment has announced the acquisition of Towerhouse, a digital content creation and platform management company founded in 2021 by former YouTube and WarnerMedia executive Parker Jones. The deal expands V10's YouTube content creation capabilities and rights management operations across sports, fitness, racing, and anime content verticals.
Jones remains CEO of Towerhouse following the acquisition, reporting to V10's CEO John Stevens and President Carter Skeath. Jones assumes additional responsibility for V10's digital investments and partnerships as part of the transaction.
The acquisition represents one of the first deals overseen by Skeath, who joined V10 as President in January from Viacom Global Distribution.
“Parker is a best-in-class executive who knows the digital landscape incredibly well,” Stevens said in a statement. “V10 is making a big bet on Parker and his team with this investment, which aligns perfectly with our content strategy and elevates V10’s owned brands and channel services businesses during this transitional time in audience engagement.”
Skeath added, “Parker and his team have refined a strategic content-driven approach that will expand V10’s offerings for traditional and digital partners seeking to build and optimize audience growth and engagement.”
Digital Platform Capabilities
Towerhouse operates through two primary service offerings: Lighthouse, which provides channel growth services including content strategy and social distribution management, and Watchtower, which handles monetization through YouTube content claiming and UGC-based growth campaigns. The company’s women's sports channel on YouTube achieved 40 million monthly views and 100,000 subscribers within four months.
“Towerhouse knows how to turn content libraries into growing, monetizable audiences—especially in sports and entertainment, where rights management and sustainable audience growth matter more than ever,” Jones stated.
The acquisition connects Towerhouse's digital expertise with V10's content catalog of over 2.6 million user-generated videos.
V10 recently launched its UGC library for industry-wide licensing through Home Video Licensing, adding more than 3,500 new clips weekly. The library comprises 1.5 million vertical videos, 800,000 horizontal videos, and 50,000 produced compilations, all available for licensing across various platforms, including YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook.
Towerhouse recently established a strategic collaboration with sports technology company WSC Sports and secured partnerships focused on rights management in motorsports, anime, and elite sports leagues.
