Talent Agency UnderCurrent Talent Expands Digital Creator Roster With Project15 Acquisition
UnderCurrent Talent has acquired boutique creator management company Project15, bringing additional digital talent to its existing roster of more than 250 creators, according to Variety.
Founded in 2019 by CEO Eric Bogard and partners Adam Bogard and Aaron Hoffman, UnderCurrent represents popular digital personalities including JoJo Siwa and Kira Kosarin. The agency provides management services spanning brand partnerships, content strategy, product development, and long-term career planning.
Project15 founder Jack Gorlin, who launched his company in 2020, brings clients including Miranda Rae, Kirby Johnson, and Angelina Jacob to UnderCurrent. Gorlin began his entertainment career as a photographer, videographer, and digital strategist working with music artists including Jonas Brothers, Alicia Keys, Demi Lovato, and Bebe Rexha.
Entrepreneurial Management Model
UnderCurrent operates with what it describes as an “entrepreneurial model” that provides managers with infrastructure and resources typically found at larger firms, while empowering them to operate with ownership stakes.
According to UnderCurrent, its commission structure allows managers to “retain the majority of their upside and build their own client books within a high-performance system and collaborative team environment.” The company reports this approach attracts experienced managers seeking both independence and scale.
“What attracted me to UnderCurrent was their strong culture, incredible roster of diverse talent, and an entrepreneurial system that allowed us to form a true partnership,” Gorlin said in a statement.
In a LinkedIn announcement, Bogard emphasized the company’s belief that “Managers are entrepreneurs, not employees.” He said the company offers a “generous pure commission track that allows our Managers to make 2-3x what they would at other firms – while still providing them with all the resources, brand and network necessary to serve our clients at the highest level.”
Gorlin, who operated Project15 independently for five years, shared that he had found in UnderCurrent “a team who already feel like family.”
