Podscribe Launches AI Chatbot, Revamps YouTube Conversion Modeling for Podcast Advertisers

Podcast and audio ad measurement platform Podscribe has rolled out a revised measurement system for podcast ads that run across both audio feeds and YouTube, alongside an AI chatbot designed to help advertisers analyze campaign data. The updates address a growing challenge as more podcast shows distribute content across audio and video platforms simultaneously, according to a blog post

YouTube SmartModeling

The centerpiece of the update is YouTube SmartModeling, a revised approach for estimating conversions from YouTube views on simulcast campaigns. The previous industry standard applied the same conversion rate from the audio version of an episode to estimate YouTube performance, a method Podscribe says routinely overstated video impact.

The new model predicts YouTube ad performance using multiple data signals, including the share of U.S. versus international subscribers on a channel, ad placement within the episode, and ad length. Podscribe plans to add engagement rates, visual host reads, and clickable vanity URL data in future updates.

As a result, advertisers should expect a 10% to 30% drop in modeled YouTube performance compared to the previous methodology, according to Podscribe. YouTube SmartModeling is now live in Podscribe dashboards and will become the default for all simulcast campaigns on April 1.

AI Chatbot

Podscribe also launched an AI chatbot that connects to its internal data layer, allowing advertisers and agencies to query podcast audience demographics, sponsor history, episode summaries, and historical findings from Podscribe’s Performance Benchmark reports.Podscribe Launches AI Chatbot, Revamps YouTube Conversion Modeling for Podcast Advertisers
