Creator Martech Company #paid Names Dave Hampton as First Chief Technology Officer
#paid, a creator marketing technology company that works with enterprise consumer brands, has named Dave Hampton as its first Chief Technology Officer. As CityBiz reported, the newly created role is tasked with advancing the company’s artificial intelligence, data analytics, and campaign measurement capabilities.
Hampton brings more than a decade of experience in digital and Influencer Marketing, dating to 2013, along with a background spanning application development, cybersecurity, compliance, information technology, and DevOps. In his new role, Hampton will oversee technology initiatives aimed at improving how brands and creators plan, execute, and measure marketing campaigns.
“#paid has years of data on what actually drives successful creator campaigns,” Hampton said. “Part of my role is to develop technology that puts deep campaign insights into the hands of brands and creators. That’s what excites me most.”
Bryan Gold, CEO and co-founder of #paid, said Hampton’s combination of technical and creator marketing experience fits the company’s long-term strategy. “We’ve always believed creator marketing should be built on trust and technology, and Dave shares that conviction,” Gold said. “As we build out the infrastructure behind the Creator Economy, having a technology leader who understands both the tech and this industry is a big advantage for our customers.”
#paid, founded more than a decade ago, provides technology and services that help brands manage creator relationships, campaign workflows, performance data and marketing measurement, consolidating activities brands often handle through separate agencies, vendors and software tools. Its clients include Coca-Cola and Virgin Voyages. #paid maintains offices in Toronto, New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, and Miami.
