Netflix Renews Full Podcast Slate, Adds Originals From Katt Williams, Harlan Coben

Netflix is renewing its entire original podcast lineup for additional episodes and adding new shows from Katt Williams and Harlan Coben, the company announced September 1.

Katt Williams, who stars in the Netflix stand-up special “The Last Report,” and Harlan Coben, author of the novel behind the Netflix series “I Will Find You,” will each launch original podcasts later this year. Netflix did not disclose premiere dates for either show.

The renewals cover “Murder with My Husband,” “The Pete Davidson Show,” “Shut Up Evan,” “The Puzzle Room with David Kwong,” and “Allegedly with Ellison Barber,” all returning for additional episodes. Netflix is also adding new originals from existing podcast hosts, including “The Rotten Files with Stephanie Soo,” “Wishbone Kitchen with Meredith Hayden,” “Last Trace with Kaelyn Moore,” and “Couldn’t Agree Less with Allison & Isaac,” the last featuring the Kuch-Rochell couple discussing relationship topics.

Two established podcasts are moving to the platform for the first time: “The Pivot Podcast,” hosted by former NFL players Ryan Clark, Fred Taylor and Channing Crowder, arrives September 8, and “OUTLORE with Eleanor Neale,” the true-crime creator’s show, arrives September 27. “Last Trace with Kaelyn Moore” premieres September 28, “Couldn’t Agree Less” on October 22, and the college sports series “On Campus: Game of the Week” launches September 4.

“Podcasts are a way for members to get more of the genres, stories and personalities they love,” said Brandon Riegg, Netflix’s VP of Nonfiction Series. “No matter where or when you want to listen or watch, we have a curated selection of podcasts representing the best of true crime, sports, comedy, food, and storytelling of every kind.”

Coben called Netflix “a wonderful partner in telling new stories” and said his podcast will explore “the plot twist that formed you, surprised you, changed your life for the better – or even the worse.”

Netflix says it now carries more than 60 podcasts. It first added podcasts to the platform in January 2026, and awareness has built quickly: 62% of weekly podcast consumers already know the shows are available there, according to Cumulus Media and Signal Hill Insights’ “Podcast Download” report published earlier this year. The same report found YouTube commands the largest share of podcast consumption at 44% of weekly listeners, ahead of Spotify’s 14% and Apple Podcasts’ 11%, while demand for video-forward, “watchable” podcasts has been climbing broadly. Netflix’s expansion positions the streamer to compete for that same viewing behavior rather than treating podcasts as an audio-only add-on.
