IAB Global Network Launches Creator Week Spanning 17 Markets

The IAB Global Network announced the launch of IAB Global Creator Week, an initiative uniting 17 markets to advance creator marketing through local events, shared research, and a global digital hub, according to a press release from the Interactive Advertising Bureau.

The event runs from September 14 to 18 and brings together IAB chapters in Australia, Brazil, Canada, Germany, Ireland, Mexico, New Zealand, Peru, Poland, Slovenia, South Africa, Türkiye, Ukraine, the United Kingdom, and the United States, along with regional bodies IAB Europe and IAB MENA. More than 200 million people worldwide identify as content creators, with about 50 million considered professional or semi-professional, the release said, citing that figure as the basis for the IAB’s push toward greater transparency, stronger measurement frameworks, and consistent governance across markets.

Each market will program events reflecting local priorities. The U.S. will host IAB CreatorFronts in New York on September 15, described in the release as the industry’s first upfront-style marketplace built around the Creator Economy, connecting buyers and sellers of creator partnerships. Other confirmed events include IAB UK’s Creator Marketing Growth Summit in London, IAB Canada’s Data Night Toronto, a BVDW-hosted session at Meta Germany in Berlin, and IAB MENA’s Creator Marketing Forum in Dubai, all also set for September 15. Additional events are scheduled through September 18 in Slovenia, Brazil, South Africa, Peru, Mexico, New Zealand, Türkiye, and Ukraine, with an Ireland event on September 9 held adjacent to the main week. The IAB said further country-specific details will be released on a rolling basis.

A central digital hub will accompany the local programming, curating global event listings and building a resource library contributed to by additional IAB organizations in Argentina, Austria, Chile, Italy, Southeast Asia, India, Spain, Sweden, and Uruguay. The IAB said the initiative is designed as an ongoing platform rather than a one-time event, with a longer-term goal of aligning buying cycles and creating efficiencies for multinational creator marketing campaigns.

“The Creator Economy has firmly established itself as an integral part of the digital ecosystem, and we are excited to bring our global network together to support this important and growing segment of the industry,” said David Cohen, CEO of IAB.
