Disney Signs Dude Perfect to Company-Wide Creative Partnership
The Walt Disney Company and Dude Perfect have announced an integrated creative partnership spanning entertainment, sports, consumer products, and parks and experiences.
Under the partnership, Dude Perfect will produce original content for its own channels built around Disney franchises and cultural moments, with select Dude Perfect content also appearing on Disney+. Planned collaborations over the next year include Super Bowl LXI, the 50th anniversary of Star Wars, and Marvel Studios’ “Avengers: Doomsday,” including Avengers-themed content for Dude Perfect’s Overtime series. Disney also gains access to a portion of Dude Perfect’s existing short-form library for distribution across Disney+, ESPN, and Disney’s social platforms.
“Disney has always been a place where great storytellers come to create, and Dude Perfect brings a distinctive voice and an inventive approach to everything they do,” said Asad Ayaz, Chief Marketing and Brand Officer of The Walt Disney Company, in the announcement.
Dude Perfect co-founder Garrett Hilbert framed the deal as a continuation of a personal relationship with the company. “We’ve been Disney kids forever, from wearing out the VHS tape of ‘The Lion King’ to making core memories as a family at Disney World,” he said. “Disney taught us to go big and dream, and that has shaped everything we’ve built.”
The two have worked together before. Last year, Dude Perfect attempted to visit all 12 Disney Parks worldwide in under 75 hours, a video that became the channel’s second-best-performing YouTube upload in its first 24 hours with more than 13 million views and drove over $1.2 million in donations to Make-A-Wish, according to the announcement. Dude Perfect reports 130 million followers and more than 22 billion lifetime views across an entertainment business that now includes live touring, the Almost Athletes podcast, and consumer products.
The agreement follows Disney’s August partnership with Dhar Mann Studios, which opened with a 20-episode order for youth- and family-oriented programming. Both deals carry the same executive signature: Ayaz has now issued near-identical praise for the “distinctive voice” of each creator in consecutive announcements.
The pattern fits a strategy Disney has been building around its vertical-video feed, Verts, which launched on Disney+ in March. At D23 in August, Disney executives said roughly 40% of Disney+ mobile users had interacted with Verts since launch, and CEO Josh D’Amaro told analysts on his first earnings call that the feed is “already driving deeper engagement” with Disney IP.
D’Amaro also pointed to the Creators Collection, a catalog of creator-made content tied to franchise releases including Predator: Badlands and the live-action Lilo & Stitch, as an area Disney planned to expand “in the months ahead.” The Dude Perfect deal is the most direct expression yet of that expansion, tying a creator’s output to some of Disney’s largest 2026 franchise moments rather than a single release.
