Collective Voice Taps Amani Richardson As New Creator-In-Residence, Reports 42% Boost In Creator Retention

Collective Voice appointed Amani Richardson as its new Creator-in-Residence (CIR) as the company reports a 42% increase in creator retention since launching the CIR program in March 2025. The creator monetization platform, which serves 140,000 creators and 22,000 brands, also noted a 35% lift in affiliate linking activity across its network.

Richardson succeeds Chanel Tyler, who led the inaugural phase of the CIR initiative. The program embeds creator expertise directly into the company’s education, product development, and community engagement efforts.

“Collective Voice changed everything for me and helped me become a full-time entrepreneur,” said Tyler. She describes the residency as an opportunity to merge her “passion for community, education, and commerce.”

Richardson, a full-time creator for three years specializing in videography, affiliate marketing, and storytelling, expressed enthusiasm about the appointment. “To be seen for my art and creative strategy, having only been a full-time creator for three years, leaves me overjoyed,” Richardson said.

The CIR program forms a key component of Collective Voice’s education-focused business model. Through the initiative, creators participate in shaping tools, training, and resources through workshops, tutorials, and one-on-one mentorship.

These offerings target creators at various career stages, focusing on building affiliate-first businesses.

Platform Releases New Creator Tools

Coinciding with Richardson’s appointment, Collective Voice has also launched two product updates:

Gifting Portal: A two-sided marketplace for managing gifted products from brands. The system allows creators to accept, manage, and showcase these items, potentially converting each gift into a revenue-generating partnership.

Enhanced Shop the Look “Smart Reply”: An AI-powered Instagram direct message automation tool. The feature enables creators to maintain engagement while focusing on content creation and community building.

“Placing creators at the center of innovation is what drives Collective Voice forward,” said Clair Sidman, vice president of marketing at Collective Voice.
