AdLarge Acquires Tech Platform Inlet Media, Names First CTO In Podcast Monetization Push

AdLarge has acquired the assets of Inlet Media, a technology platform the audio advertising company has used for nearly two years, and appointed Patrick Cedrowski as its first chief technology officer, the company announced.

Brian Egan, co-founder of Inlet Media, has been promoted to Vice President and Head of Product at AdLarge.

The Inlet platform has been integrated into the AdLarge and fwd. network infrastructure that enables onboarding, distribution, and monetization of video and multimedia content through existing podcast and creator workflows.

“Bringing Inlet’s technology in-house will enable us to develop it in a more integrated way,” Cedrowski said in a statement. “Now we can accelerate innovation, scale faster, and build a more connected, data-driven ecosystem for creators and advertisers.”

The acquisition positions the combined platform to expand revenue opportunities and improve operational efficiency through AI-powered podcast and creator workflows, according to the company.

Egan will oversee the development of AdLarge and fwd.’s creator, video, and monetization platforms, ensuring product development aligns with client, creator, and advertiser requirements.

“Inlet was built to solve real-world problems in content onboarding, monetization, and workflow efficiency, and seeing that technology becomes a core pillar of AdLarge and the fwd. network is incredibly rewarding,” Egan said. “This role allows me to bring together product, engineering, and business strategy so we can continue to deliver tools that help creators grow and brands activate more effectively across audio, video, and emerging formats.”

Technology Investment

The acquisition supports AdLarge’s strategy to invest in technology and AI-enabled innovation to unlock revenue streams and improve scalability for creators and advertisers across podcasting, audio, and video formats.

“Patrick and Brian bring world-class technical and product leadership at a time when creators and advertisers demand more integrated, data-driven, and performance-focused solutions,” Cathy Csukas, CEO of AdLarge and the fwd. network, said in the announcement. “By owning and evolving this technology together, we are building a stronger, more scalable future for our creators, our brand partners, and our entire ecosystem.”

AdLarge’s client base includes Fortune 500 companies and direct-to-consumer brands. The fwd. network acquired Adalyst Media’s portfolio of 25 podcasts in April 2025, expanding to over 75 shows targeting female audiences.
